MELTING 3D PRINT WASTE INTO SILCONE MOLDS
Переглядів 2,5 тис.5 місяців тому
Melting your filament purge waste from your 3d printing is a great way to get the most out of your roll! I saw this idea originally from the UA-camr Uncle Jessie. Check out his video here: ua-cam.com/video/rqHbA-ZZ1Fg/v-deo.htmlsi=NOFE_J7zQzPG15a1 Skull Mold used in this video: amzn.to/3SzWLRn 🔥 My 3D Printing Recommendations 🔥 Polymaker PLA PRO: amzn.to/3sx5j0V Bambu Lab 3D Printers: bambulab....
I know it’s a quick UA-cam video and any kind of application of logic tends to fly out of the window these days, but you could have at least printed the same bloody model and shown both printers at the same stage of the print. What a waste of time.
nice for the price
I found it very itchy handling it? Maybe just me?
I have gone through multiple tutorials, and yours saved me! Such an easy tutorial to follow.
It's my first time and I'm trying to figure out how to load the filament through that wire
The missing piece of the filament holder was still in the styrofoam, he didnt take it out. You can see it on the left side of the video.
X1E?
I’ve had some issues with tree support coming unstuck when the tree gets tall. The nozzle sometimes catches the top of the tree when tall and rips it off the plate. Is there a way to make the brim around the base of it bigger? Thanks, I’m new and still learning.
Here's the full explanation on accessing the printer using SSH and adding the required apps ua-cam.com/video/YG34iK5wb14/v-deo.htmlsi=4cXXWSDtL9tkLuTk
Hi, its possible add text other color ?
How do you view the bed mesh is it in a slicer?
Thank you so much for clearing this up,im mainly just getting away from the utterly crap creality slicer and this got my K1c noticed in the slicer . . . off to print , ,finaly
Damn came to see how to set the Z offset rip
Would you recommend me to buy this one as my first 3D printer, or the creality 3v3? I’ll be using a lot of space to print some things
they need to upgrade it to a useable printer 1st
I think I have the same shelving, but mine wobbles horribly with a P1S on it. Did you do anything to stabilize it?
I added plywood under the shelves with printers on them
If you're going to state it doesn't work as well, explain why it doesn't work as well.
Can you use this for making rc parts
Can you do this with 2 pc towers instead of 1 tower and 1 laptop?
yes, same concept
I agree
Bambu labs doesn’t have the p1s?
We don’t “know” that’s an unreleased model. We just know he has two new printers.
i like BTT SFS V2 more. it doesn’t just detects the presence of the filament but also it’s movement. it’s very useful in case you have a clog or a filament broken past the sensor
The little rocket print they have is the only thing printed dine so far. The default software seems useless. Cant convert to gcode inwant to throw it out the door because nothing will stick to the plate I have used 2 other free software
Not a like for like comparison! Compare with the k series, I think that would be fairer.
Or the A1 series
How well does it handle max tall prints?
Usb power❤❤❤
It's doesn't , you still have to calibrate your flow for your filament.
Wait! It went from 23% to 25%! 🤦
I have an Ender 3 V3 which I love to use. I have been using Creality Print Slicer 5 for all my prints which I also love. When you said at 2.30 that there are no customs settings for the V3 plus I immediately looked at my version of Creality Print which is v5.0.0.8636 Release. Although this is the latest update, this slicer is available on Github if you scroll through all the info also supplied the latest version that they have and updating can be done after install. In the slicer there is definitely provision for the Ender 3 V3 Plus custom settings in the printer list. I hope this helps someone. I can highly recommend trying out this slicer.
Thank you!
Ditto. I use my Ender 3v2 modded for strictly TPU. While my 2 P1S handle all my PLA and PETG orders. 🤙
Bait used to be believable
Also my favorite filament, unfortunately almost always out of stock.
They might have improved since, but from my experience, the sample spool is hot garbage. The one I got for my Ender 5 Plus had horrible layer separation, and the filament just kept breaking while on the holder.
So you can't still print directly?
I can't help but notice that we have the same (or same enough) ceiling tiles! What a coincidence. Topic treated, I've yet to try a runout change on my Neptune 3 Pro
Great video! A question tough. I have tried this now and it works, but there is a lot of (blue looking) smoke coming out of the oven. I did it outside, in an oven just like yours, 190 celsius (about 374 Fahrenheit) and a bit higher. I am melting matte PLA filament by „eryone“. Did you have the same problem with the smoke or any suggestions what I might be doing wrong?
I'm watching this a year later. I just ordered a Prusa MK4. I hope they have fixed these issues or otherwise I will send it back.
Yo dude I just got it, and set it up, but when I started my test print, it did everything properly, except no filament was coming out. Did I not load the filament in correctly?
Also my favorite filament but I'm finding now that it's a little susceptible to moisture
The model they currently offer charges on 5V/2A, which will take very long to charge ( Edit : the page of the one model they still sell clealy says 10 hours to fully charge ). On the other hand it has a very large charge filling a phone or tablet battery several times, so... just remember to charge the power bank once in a while. ( Any wall adapter outputing 5V will be fine, as the battery will only pull 2A no matter, but do NOT try to charge it with something outputting more than 5Volts ).
can and how do you imort your own files/ picures in to lightburn
Cant a lidar and flow sensor be installed as a upgrade?
Mine arrived broken :(, I got a refound thankfully, will probably buy the same one again, I hope this one comes good
Bummer! Hopefully their customer service will take care of you though. Happy printing when you can!
Thinking about buying this for my first 3D printer, good build plate size, speed, and easy to configure. Any advice?
It’s been great so far. Definitely would make sure you compare this to the regular size build plate though. If you won’t utilize the size on the regular, it may be worth going smaller for better jerk handling
hey man im new to 3d printing (only had my ender 3 v3 or smth lime that for 4 months, just got a creality filament dryer because i saw it makes the prints better, i have a few questions if you dont mind anwsering them 1. i use the creality slicing software, is that the best free one or is there a better one i should use 2. i want to make my own models is there a good free software to make my own models to print? 3. i get all of my models from the creality slicer is there a better place to get them? i just found your channel and hour ago and watched every video! you seem cool and your information is useful so i subbed keep up the great videos
For sure! 1. I prefer orcaslicer or prusaslicer myself 2. Try out fusion 360. It’s free for personal use. Or tinkercad (same company, a little easier if it’s your first CAD software) 3. Try out thangs.com, printables.com, makerworld.com, or thingiverse.com Enjoy the hobby! Thanks for watching!
thank you so much man!
Awesome thank you!
I would love some help dialing in settings for 3d printing small minis. It seems to either be incredibly difficult to remove ripping off or scaring small parts. or so weak it cannot hold things like hands that start mid-air
I get the same error but my printer doesnt 'just' show up in devices
I really just needed patience, what the hell lol! thank you!!
